Saudi Tunneling Company for Contracting (STCC) shall provide end to end solutions and expertise in the execution of thrust-boring utility tunneling, horizontal directional drilling, pipe-jacking and shaft works (for extending water lines between and within cities, establishing and maintaining new networks, establishing and repairing stations and main lines for water distribution, constructing and repairing sewage stations and projects, Sewage networks and pumps etc.) with well experienced operators crew under the supervision professionally qualified engineers. The company founded in September 2008 as a small tunneling division with zero constituent amongst M/s. Hassan Allam Construction (Misr Sons Development Group of Companies, Egypt) under the umbrella of Al-Angari Holding company to meet the growing demands of trenchless technology works in KSA. Over 10 years period of time, company has done many vital and challenging sub-contract works for National Water Company (NWC), Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), Ministry of Water and Electricity and other main government sectors in a timely manner and successfully continuing the same. We are doing shaft construction independently using secant piling, sinking, cement block methods for tunnel construction. These proven success and strong track record coupled with the continued growth in demand of tunneling service in the local market, in January 2018 we established a stand-alone company to run the tunneling business independently under the name of “Saudi Tunneling Company for Contracting (STCC). End of the year 2019 our company boasts total 08 machines, 209 full time employees and over 48.96km of tunnel currently executed or ongoing and achieved the total assets value of SR 83.78 mln. In future, new technologies and equipment such as segmental lining machine are expected to be added to the new firm’s fleet to enable it to work in the field of utility tunneling, traffic tunneling etc. to construct big tunnels for both automobiles and metro systems.
